You can see both a Western and Russian influence in the design of the Chinese MBT. It is similar to Soviet tanks as it doesn't have very much accuracy against targets that are far away from it, but it can launch its anti-tank weapons just as well as its other ammunition. Its loading system is automatic just like the Type 99 which was taken from the way that the Russians use in their design. This is a negative aspect since the ammo is kept in the main compartment instead of in one separated with panels that blow out. It has a special laser system that protects it against missiles and it can protect against enemy optics and harm the enemy gunner's eyesight. The system was also developed so that it could be utilized to protect against attacking helicopters. This tank has an engine that is super powerful and can get around very easily. It is currently only being used in China with about two hundred in use.
