After the Soviet Union fell, Ukraine maintained its work on creating the T80UD tank to be used in battle. The most recent version that they've come out with is called the Oplot-M, which has armor that reacts to explosives. Just like the MBT, the Oplot-M has an ammunition system that loads automatically, but the ammo is stored inside the main compartment of the tank, instead of in a separate area with panels that blow out. This tank doesn't have great accuracy when it comes to going after targets that are far away, but it can disperse guided missiles against tanks just as it launches normal ammo. This tank has finished up its tests and is about to be used in the Ukrainian military. It is quite similar in regards to its protection, ability to move around, and firepower to Russian tanks, particularly the T90, but it wasn't produced in as large an amount as the Russian tanks were.
